La Taillede
Endroit magique, vue superbe, accueil très chaleureux de Ali et Mat. La déco des gîtes est soignée et faite avec goût, beau matériaux . De nombreuses balades et randonnées possibles dans le coin. Si vous voulez passer des vacances calmes et reposantes. Je ne saurai que vous recommander ce lieu.

Ce fut une expérience à ne pas oublier et nous reviendrons certainement pour un séjour plus long. Accueillie par Ali et Matt (plus tous les animaux), La Taillede a tout ce qu'il faut pour passer de merveilleuses vacances. Les adultes et les enfants apprécieront tout ce qu'il a à offrir, tant sur le site que dans les environs. Je ne pourrais pas le recommander plus et un grand merci à Ali et Matt pour tout.

We had a fabulous two weeks at La Taillede. Ali and Matt have created a calm and relaxing as well as friendly atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool (including the ‘swinging beds’), the great hikes nearby, and eating outside with amazing views. We stayed in the Gite Cerise which was cool and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. We loved the tradition of a communal meal once a week and we liked being surrounded by farm animals. It was great to be able to get fresh eggs and bread (and croissants!) whenever we needed them. And Audrey is an amazing masseuse. We were very sad to leave and will no doubt be back soon.

Dommage que ce sont des lieux où l'on pouvait par le passé promener en toute quiétude et depuis que ça a été racheté on nous impose des détours ou carrément des interdictions de passer parce qu'on a des chiens. Comme si la montagne n'appartient plus qu'à eux seuls... Regrettable !...

Our visit to La Taillède this summer was our second and just as, if not more, enjoyable, relaxing and glorious as the first. We made good use of the recent beautiful and peaceful swimming pool, which definitely enhanced our stay. We also thoroughly enjoyed the offer of massages and yoga by the pool. Staying in Gîte Noisette enables you to make the most of the stunning view from the balcony, morning and evening, and dip into the sauna after a long hike. We highly recommend staying at La Taillède, which has so many gold stars, in our view, that they are too numerous to mention: the tranquil and stunning location, the charming and comfortable premises and most of all feeling like we are home, due to Ali and Matt’s warm and wonderful welcome. We have fond memories of Ali’s delicious cooking and the convivial group supper evenings round the fire. We very much hope to return to La Taillède again next summer.

I simply wanted to stay somewhere with a sauna for Christmas. I got much, much more. An absolutely amazing, secluded place high up in the mountains - as we were driving up, the bleak overcast clouds became a cloudy sea in the sunny landscape with mountain peaks masquerading as islands. The house itself is gorgeous and there was attention to detail in the seasonal decoration which made us feel a real Christmas cheer. For the first time ever, I tried wild boar. The kids had a charming playground, donkey rides, and a little farm with chickens and pigs to feed. The mountain air is clean and the sky is rich with stars. The wooden sauna with the stone cold plunge pool was the cherry on top. The only downside was driving down the side of the mountain at the end of our stay.

Notre séjour a été parfait : calme et cadre superbe pour les parents, espaces de jeux et animaux pour les enfants... et enfin le hot tub pour toute la famille !

Le site est grandiose. Le gite est très qualitatif, superbes finitions dans le détail et l'artisanat. La Taillede, c'est un projet de vie mené par Ali et Matt qui est très inspirant. Ca fait réfléchir à une autre façon de vivre, intégrée à la nature et avec tout le confort. Qualité d'accueil aux petits oignons...Et les bains nordiques... c'est le must.Nous avons hâte de revenir vous voir.

Il est difficile de trouver mieux comme lieu de calme et de bien êtreNous étions un groupe de 18 personnes et avions donc loué les gites pour nous retrouver en famille pour l'anniversaire surprise de mon mari . Et la surprise fut énorme ,Ali et Matt sont des gens super,toujours a vos petits soins pour que le séjour se passe au mieux.Les différents gites sont au top et les environs idylliques où balades et farniente se font dans une atmosphère sereine et reposante .Vous ne savez pas où aller pour vos prochains loisirs ? N'hésitez pas ,direction La Taillède

This is a natural paradise! The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful and the accommodation is beautiful too - note that the photos don't show just how spacious Gite Carlit is. And Ali and Matt are great hosts. They have created a place that is peaceful and relaxing but also with plenty for the curious, from the farm animals and wildlife in the surrounding countryside to the mountain walks that are a short trip away. As a family of four (two adults, 12 year old daughter and 10 year old son), we could not have asked for more!

We stayed for nearly two weeks at La Taillede with our three kids ages 8,8 & 5. We all had the best time. The kids absolutely loved the animals & the freedom. The pool is gorgeous & everyone who works there from the owners to the helpers were fantastic.There was plenty to keep us occupied on the property that we really were reluctant to leave, but there’s also so much to do in the surrounding area to explore!Just a wonderful place. Absolutely ten out of ten recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in April with our 5 year old son. La Taillede is a unique place and we switched off for the first time in quite a few years. Ali and Matt are brilliant hosts, and the whole place is full of brilliant and thoughtful ideas, all geared towards ensuring that people are able to relax and enjoy the environment. I really cannot wait to return.
