BOOK IT! This was the highlight of my trip to Paris. Thierry is a superb storyteller and has a wealth of knowledge of French history. He really made the experience incredible. He took extra time for our group tour and even took an extra 2 HOURS out of his day to take me on a private Napoleon tour after the French Revolution tour because I loved his tour so much!! You will have a fantastic time on this tour with him, book it!!Thierry, you are amazing!!

Thierry's tours are well researched, methodical and thought provoking! They are complimented by his passion and enthusiasm for history. I was fortunate enough to do 3 tours in Oct 2023. This was only because he obliged requests while he was meant to be on holiday. The path of the tours are well laid out and flow easily. The nuisances of the land marks makes a person realize how much we miss when walking down a rue in Paris. I look forward to attending more tours with Thierry!

Thierry's tours for both the French Revolution and the Rise of Napoleon are undoubtably the best amongst all the tours I have done in Paris. After his tours, he has significantly increased my interest in French history. Thank you Thierry, we will be back for more tours in the future.

I have taken 3 Parisology tours and plan to take a 4th tour before I leave Paris. I love to take tours when I travel but have never taken more than one tour with a guide. However, Thierry is an exceptional tour guide and any afternoon spent with him exploring a city that he loves is a priceless experience. He speaks perfect English and lived in the United States for many years so he easily communicates and relates to American travelers. He is kind and considerate and makes sure that everyone feels included. Do not hesitate to book one, two, three or even four tours with Thierry!!!

My parents, partner, and I did a private French Revolution tour with Thierry and cannot recommend him enough! He covered so much in two hours and it was great for history buffs like my mom and I and also for history newbies like my partner. The Parisology walking tours were exactly what we were looking for. We wanted to know more about this beautiful city and how historical persons and events have shaped it. We took both the Art Nouveau and Rise of Napoleon tours. Thierry is an excellent guide who brings his subject matter to life and is very attentive to his audience. I highly recommend these walking tours and look forward to joining another one the next time we’re in Paris.

Loved the French Revolution tour so much we booked the Napoleon tour 2 days later. Thierry isn’t just super knowledgeable but shares fascinating stories and makes it super approachable and engaging. As someone who doesn’t know much about history I learned a ton as did my history buff husband. Highly recommend!

Thierry provides a wonderful personalized tour. He has a wealth of information and is most generous in sharing his knowledge and love of Paris history and architecture. We felt our time was well spent on the Architecture Nouveau tour.

We have now taken four of Thierry’s historic tours of Paris including his series on the Royals, the Revolution and Napoleonic era. We keep returning because he really is a true master of the art of teaching through story-telling. Back in our native U.K. we took many historic tours around London, so we have more than a passing understanding of what goes to make a top quality tour. Thierry’s tours strike a perfect balance of context and background, history, anecdote, scandal and intrigue, all while walking through some of the most beautiful streets in the world. His warmth, enthusiasm and sincere fascination with (and affection for) his subjects is infectious. He deserves all the 5-star reviews he receives and we’re looking forward to taking another tour soon. To us this is a must-try excursion in Paris, to help understand the history of this unique city.

Absolutely wonderful tours (so good, I did two the same day!) Lots of fun, great information, and spectacular sights. I cannot recommend Thierry and Parisology enough and cannot wait to do another tour when next in Paris!
