Private Trip

We had a wonderful day of touring champagne country. We toured 4 champagne vineyards, which a mix of different size wineries. Our driver Jozef was excellent; he was very knowledgeable of the area and champagne. He truly planned a trip that was geared to our group. I have taken other private tours and have not had the same personal service the “Private Day Trips Tour” provided. This company would be an excellent alternative for a shore excursion that the river cruise companies offer. You can personal your trip and see so much more. I would definitely use “Private Day Trips Tour” again.

I recomend to everyone who wants to experience France by all means.

We took a two days tour to Burgund with Private Trip from Paris. We had a great time with our driver/guide Jozef which kept us entertained the whole two days. We have visited many interesting places and wineries (my favourite was Chateau Pommard). We took a day tour with Private Trip to Burgundy. It was really impressive how they managed to combine the history, wine tastings and authentic French food in one day. Our family of 5 used Private Trip to visit Normandy and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was everything promised, from individual van and driver, to easy early pickup from where we were staying, to a full itinerary. We especially liked that our guide explained a lot on the way up from Paris as well as at the Normandy sites, which our kids absorbed. A great experience.

Another couple, my husband had the privilege of having Jozef as our guide on a private tour of Normandy. We had an exceptional day, beginning with Jozef picking us up at our hotel. After several days of using the subway and walking to our destinations, it was a treat to have someone drive us in a comfortable van to Normandy, which was about a 3 hour ride. Jozef was very knowledgable and well-prepared as our guide. We toured the historic World War II sites in a small group, being able to easily ask our guide questions along the way. We felt that Jozef did an excellent job of addressing things that we were interested in. Jozef also suggested a nice restaurant for lunch that had delicious food for a reasonable price. The day was was a wonderful way to end our time in France before returning home. I highly recommend taking a tour with Jozef through Private Trip Day Tours.

Amazing!! Josef took us on a two-day trip to Normandy/D-Day beaches and Mont St Michel with our 3 children. I’d give the tour 6 stars if I could. Josef did an incredible job sharing facts and stories, which helped put so much of what we saw into context. He was flexible to the attention spans of our kids (18, 13, and 11) while satisfying our curiosity. The weather in Feb was moderate to crisp with some rain, so please heed his advice to pack appropriately. We were fine but you would never want to miss what he has to share with you because you’re not adequately dressed. Déborah, who coordinates the tour and provides hotel information, is responsive and helpful. If you are considering doing a tour, book with Josef - you will not be disappointed!!!

Great experience -- one of the highlights of a ten day trip to France. Jozef led my family and me on a tour of Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc, the American cemetery, and Pegasus Bridge, with a spontaneous cider tasting stop in between. The pickup and drop-off from our hotel made it incredibly simple, and Jozef's depth of knowledge on the battlefield added the context to make each site memorable and emotionally impactful. His humor and flexibility kept everyone engaged throughout the entire 13-hour day. I would go out of my way in any future trip to France to take a tour through Jozef again.

Day trip with Jozef to Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, Mulberry Harbor, and Pegasus Bridge which included pick-up and drop off at our Paris accommodation. Jozef focused on our interests and provided a customized experience for us. He was very knowledgeable about the sites and was personable and engaging throughout our tour. Would highly recommend him to anyone seeking a tailored experience on the Normandie landings and beyond. A memorable experience for the whole family.
