What can I say, Philippe was a fantastic guide for our 3 day 2 night trip to Mont St Michelle, Normandy and Giverny. He picked us up at our Paris hotel and stayed with us throughout our excursion. He made the long drives interesting with fun fact and good conversations, but the best part was once we arrived at each of the stops. His knowledge of the history was fantastic and his connections to get us into extraordinary hidden spot was above and beyond. My dad landed on Utah beach and he was able to do a little something special for us because of my dad’s service.If you want a truly unique and wonderful experience we cannot recommend him more. Oh and make sure you get him to take you to his favorite quiche Lorraine restaurant.

I took my 11 year old horse loving granddaughter on a day trip from Paris to Chantilly. Our driver/guide Frederic did a wonderful job, picking us up promptly at the arranged time, and bringing us easily to Chantilly. He speaks very clear English which was a real bonus for my granddaughter. He then guided us around Chantilly which is an overlooked gem! The grounds are beautiful, the chateau is magnificent, and the stables are the largest in Europe and look like a palace. The art and furniture collection there is truly remarkable and very unexpected. Frederic guided us through the museum expertly and informed us about so many important items. The stables were a big hit along with the horse museum. We stayed for the horse program “Totem” and enjoyed the costumes and horses very much. It was a wonderful day in a beautiful spot outside of Paris.

We always book at least one full day with Frédéric and Best of FRANCE tours when we visit Paris. We get so much more out of our day with his guided expertise. It’s lovely not to have to worry about transportation or where to eat, etc. we can just sit back and enjoy the experience.If you are visiting the Louvre, especially if it is your first visit, definitely add-on the guided tour. The museum can be very overwhelming otherwise!

A wonderful private tour service. Philippe is extremely knowledgeable and adds so much to the day by sharing all of his insights. We learned so much about Monet and Giverny on our tour. Each time we visit France we always call on Best of France Tours. They our professional, extremely knowledgeable and always have a surprise" site or stop on any tour we've taken. Our tour of Normandy Beaches with Phillipe was extraordinary. My future son in law was with us on his first trip to France and a WWII history buff. He was so impressed with all the new information and uniqueness of the various sites and monuments on the tour.We also had a Versailles half tour with Frederic. I have been to Versailles before with Best of France but Frederic still managed to find things that I hadn't seen and certainly history I didn't know

What an incredible tour! It was such a pleasure to tour with Frederic. He picked us up in a very comfortable van and drove us to Giverney to see Monet’s garden’s and home. He knew ways to navigate around the crowds to make the visit feel even more special. Frederic offered tidbits of history and could answer any question that we had about France as well as the artist. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and polished. He made my mom and I feel like royalty. Truly a treat! He even offered to drop us off at a great restaurant and gave some tips on shopping and another garden to visit. Five stars for Frederic!!

Had two excellent tours - to Versailles and to Giverny - with Frederic from Best of France Tours. Frederic picked us up at our rental, was personable, very knowledgeable, and had a good dry sense of humor. He's been doing this for 22+ years and knew his way around the sites, knew the people there, gave great tours, answered any questions we had, and could take great pictures of us too! Highly recommended.

Let me start by saying I have the great fortune to travel the world quite a bit and have booked a number of tour guides over the years.Philippe, owner of Best of France Tours, is the best guide I've ever worked with (and he's an amazing human as well!). From the moment I inquired about a tour of the Champagne region in France up to and through our entire day together, he thought of every detail. He was extremely responsive and really listened to what I wanted in a tour. Philippe curated visits to three small Champagne houses and I gained such an incredible education from Philippe (even before we arrived) which helped to set a great foundation for the day. We also enjoyed a fabulous lunch in a local village. He helped to keep us on track since we chose to fit so much into one day. He also provided such great history of Paris and the region - so knowledgeable about the history as well as current events. It was truly a fascinating and memorable day and I will for sure book another tour with Philippe the next time I'm in France! Merci Philippe!

We had a great time with our private tour guide, Frederic Meunier. He took us to a small producer and then to a large one, Moët and Chandon. We also stopped at a wonderful restaurant for lunch, the name escapes me. Fredric explained everything on our journey and started pointing landmarks out as soon as we got in the car. He also gave us great restaurant recommendations for Paris. He was very accommodating and communicated with us days before the tour. We highly recommend him and Best of France Tours.
