Taste & Travel - Bordeaux Wine Tours

Wow! Wow! Wow! We had a fabulous time with Roman who was our guide to experience the finer tastes of the French cuisine, wine and the beauty of the countryside. Roman had hand-selected our stops and we were able to appreciate the culture through his expert relationships he’d curated with the restaurant owners, chefs and vintners. Each meal was thoughtfully paired with wine. As equally as impressive as the food was Roman’s knowledge of the history of Bordeaux and many villages and castles we’d visited. His enthusiasm and passion made for an unmatched travel experience!In summary, this was a small, intimate experience of French culture that provided a nice break from the more cliche tourist experiences, and Roman was as genuine and accommodating as one could hope for. I just wish we had more time to experience other parts of France with him. We highly recommend this tour.

We contacted Taste & Travel for a wine tour to Medoc for our group of 6 friends. And we’re absolutely happy having made this experience! Roman, our tour guide, has so much knowledge on the history of Bordeaux and Aquitaine, on the wine making process, the details of all the wine appellations, classifications and wine tasting! All wineries that we visited were outstanding and the lunch was excellent. This is a true experience of Bordeaux and Medoc wines. I could not recommend this more to anyone. Thank you Roman.

Alessia is a very sympathetic and knowledgeable guide. She is local and well connected with the wine grower scene. We enjoyed our daily tour with all the tastings and visits of famous spots around the area very much!

We couldn't be happier with our Medoc wine tour for our group of 4. Alessia was fantastic, had an excellent knowledge of the region and of the wine. We visited three chateaux (two Grand Cru Classé 1855 and one Cru Bourgeois) with amazing wine tastings, especially the last one explained by the winemaker himself. Lunch was in a little gourmet restaurant that we would not have found on our own. We can recommend this tour for anyone looking for an extensive overview of Bordeaux and Medoc wines.

We had an amazing tour with Taste & Travel. Our tour guide, Alessia, was an encyclopedia of wine knowledge and knows everything about Bordeaux wines. We were able to taste wines at chateaux that you would not be able to visit on your own. The lunch was amazing. A great day! I hope we can do another tour with Taste and Travel again!

It’s hard to summarize how amazing our day with Alessia was. From start to finish it was superb. Alessia was so professional, helpful, informative and great fun. We really had the best time.

Très agréable le temps qu'on a passé avec Romain. Très classe, professionnel dans son approche au travail et il est aussi artistique. On a beaucoup appris et découvert par ses soins et je vous recommande vivement !Путешествуя с семьёй, мы замечательно провели время с гидом Романом Татаровым. Безупречный, профессионал в работе, он к тому же артистически подходит к своему делу. Мы многое узнали и открыли с его помощью : города, замки, вино, достопримечательности, скрытые погреба и лучшие рестораны. Советую безоговорочно!
