Lovely holiday home with such friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts.Great pool with lovely views (fantastic sunsets!) and a very well equipped games room so ideal for children of all ages.Lots to do and a short drive to the local beach as well as other beaches and towns to explore further afield. Good choice of supermarkets in Lucon and also a lovely park - Jardin Dumaine. We highly recommend.

lovely 2 weeks at this home from home. Pool lovely. Beach lovely (5 mnins walk). Ping pong lovely. Foresst Boule playing lovely :)

I can't thank you enough Annette & Jason for choosing me as your competition winner back in 2020, and for being so accommodating by allowing us to change the dates after Covid hit.We had such a great time staying in L'Ecurie holiday cottage, and have made some great memories. The only downside was that we couldn't stay longer!The weather was gorgeous which made for a couple of relaxing days by your amazing pool & a day trip to The Marais Poitevin & Les Sables-d'Olonne.We hope to meet you again here in the UK soonFay, Tristan & Lee

We had another great holiday at Maison Lairoux. Very welcoming hosts, extremely well kitted out gite. lovely heated pool as well as a games room. Lots to do in the area. We'd highly recommend a holiday here.

Gite très bien équipé, c'est le premier que je vois aussi bien équipé, il manque vraiment rien. Très calme, dans la campagne. Equipement pour manger dehors et chaises longues à disposition.Très bien reçus par les propriétaires logés à côté du gîte qui étaient très discrets et calmes.Je conseille vivement ce gîte

We had a lovely stay at Le Petit Michelais.The holiday home is really fully equipped, I could not think of anything we missed.Great heated pool, the kids enjoyed evey minute of it.Beautiful region with plenty of lovely beaches, nice restaurants, nice sites to visit (Ile de Ré, La Rochelle, etc...)Great service!

Un séjour très agréable dans ce gite très bien pensé de St Michel en l'Herm, Le Petit Michelais. A la fois propre et confortable, nous étions en famille, 2 adultes et 2 enfants. Village charmant, à quelques kilomètres des plages. Nous recommandons sans hésitation. Merci encore à Annette la propriétaire.

We stayed in Vieux Café, a well equipped home from home. The hosts were excellent in recommending places to visit and were always approachable. The gardens, playroom and heated pool were a big hit with the children. I highly recommend and will be returning again soon.

Quaint & quiet but close enough to everything you might want.The cottage is large, well equipped, comfortable and private. There is WiFi, TV, parking and the use of a shared pool.If you’d like to experience rural French life but with beaches & cities a little drive away then this will suit you.
