An unplanned pleasure! I hope I have the opportunity to visit again on my next trip to Paris!We stumbled upon this place as we were hungrily searching the streets for a new place to eat (we = 2 adults and their child). Must admit that at first impression I almost skipped the place because I thought it was a bar. But I am so glad my wife convinced me to give it a go.Food = Excellent! The menu screams authenticity and the food we had competes favourably with high-end Mexican restaurants we knew in London. I personally had a dish with Mole Negro sauce, which was absolutely fantastic. No food was left on the plates, I can guarantee that.Staff = Excellent! We worked through my disastrous French skills, through a mixture of French, English, Spanish and Italian, with the three ladies in charge all helping to make sure we were all understanding each other. Truly a friendly, relaxed atmosphere that put everyone at ease.The prices are on par with what you would expect to pay for the area, but no one left the place hungry. And I could enjoy Dos Equis beer instead of the ubiquitous Heineken, so really can't and won't complain!In summary: if in the mood for some delicious Mexican food with a chill and fun atmosphere, and can't fly from Paris to Oaxaca, come to Zicatela.

Really good Mexican food, different to what I expected but pleasantly surprised, tasted really authentic. We were served by Ali who was really friendly and knew the menu really well despite being so new. Would highly recommend, spice levels weren’t bad at all and there are different levels to suit you described on the menu. Food and drink were good value too.

La quesadilla Oaxaca est une grosse déception. Elle est juste fourrée au fromage avec des petits bouts de laitue, tomate et avocat dessus. Aucun assaisonnement à part les sauces qu'on peut ajouter nous-mêmes. L'Echilada de mole negro était plus gourmand mais manque clairement de saveur et d'épices à mon goût. On ne voyage malheureusement pas au Mexique. En revanche le service était rapide et très gentil.

The food is very good, and the choice of Mexican beers is also not bad.However we waited almost one hour for our order, and had to go to the balcony to ask if it was coming anytime soon. Somehow the order had been lost.

Un très bon restaurant mexicain, il y a une bonne odeur de cuisine mexicaine. Les plats sont plutôt généreux et savoureux, bien présentés. Le rapport qualité est très bon, le lieu est sympa, chaleureux avec rappels mexicains dans le décor.

Food here is Amazing, been here a good number if times with friends. Can be spicy.Strongly recommend to take a reservation prior to going here.You can go with groups between 6 to 8Wheelchairs can enter the restaurant.The staff are very nice
